International Students Support Unit
The mission of the Unit is to support international students enrolled in study programs of all cycles (first, second and third) of the University of Athens, before and after their arrival in Greece, for issues related to procedures, actions and communication with other public bodies.
Modern Greek Language Teaching Center
The University’s Modern Greek Language Teaching Center, devoted to the teaching of Modern Greek as a foreign language, but also offering access to a wide selection of speaking practice and Ancient Greek courses.
Student Ombusdsman
The Student Ombudsman institution has been established and operates in the University of Athens, with the following competences
University Gym and Sports Center
he University Gym and sports center organises and operates physical exercise programmes and sports activities for students, including the teaching of the art of sports.
Accessibility Unit
The mission of the Accessibility Unit is the achievement in practice of coequal access to the academic studies of students with special abilities and needs, by providing environmental modifications, computer based Assistive Technologies, and Access Services.
Student Cultural Center
The Student Cultural Center is responsible for the entertainment and development of the artistic identity of the students, and includes the Music, Theatre, Dance, Cinema and Photography Sectors.
Hospitals
The University Hospitals and Clinical Departments offer specialized health services to the public and they also contribute significantly to medical education and clinical research.
Foreign Languages Teaching Center
The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, within its instructive and broader educational scope, offers its students the possibility of acquiring, during their studies, the knowledge of one or more foreign languages.
Library and Information Center
The mission of the Library and Information Center is to support and enhance the educational and research activities of the University, to manage and distribute specialized scientific information to the Academic Community and to participate in every educational and cultural activity.
